Lost & Found Centre is located at Andheri metro station and is operational from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs. To claim a lost article, commuter needs to provide a photocopy of Government authorized photo ID proof and show original for verification.
We shall put in our best efforts to retrieve any item left behind by a commuter in the station premises or in the trains and hand over the same after proper verification of the rightful owner. Mumbai Metro One is not responsible for any item that is lost in our premises or in train but not found by us.
Lost property found in the station premises or in the train shall not be regarded as the belonging of the commuter who finds it, but must be handed over to Customer Care counter or to Metro staff on duty.
All articles found inside train or its premises, or if handed over by a commuter shall undergo a check by the Metro Security department. The Security department has the right to open and examine every article.
Mumbai Metro One without being liable may remove or dispose any article (including perishable etc.) immediately, which in its opinion can cause damage, injury or inconvenience to anyone present in the Metro premises.
All perishable items will be disposed immediately or at the end of the operating hours, based on the discretion of Mumbai Metro One.
All unclaimed items will be stored for a maximum period of 90 days. At the end of 90 days, all unclaimed goods will be disposed as decided by Mumbai Metro One.
